Policy – District employees render first-aid and emergency care based on training. Students with special health needs receive Individualized Health Plans (IHP) prepared annually by school nurse, parent/guardian, and physician. Parents may request CPR directive implementation through multi-disciplinary team review. Team determines feasibility considering school setting factors and designs emergency protocol including comfort care. Parents may revoke CPR directives anytime through written request to principal.
