Academic Credit The Area Vocational Program (AVP) at Pikes Peak Community College provides occupational skills development and training for 11th and 12th grade high school students. Curriculum for AVP courses is a compilation of various entry-level college courses for a particular area of study. The number of courses covered within each program and the grade students achieve within these individual courses throughout the year will determine the amount of college and high school credit received.
