Provision shall be made for periodic evaluation of evaluators of professional staff to ensure that the process is being carried out in a fair, professional and credible manner. All persons who evaluate professional staff members shall possess a principal or administrator license issued by the Colorado Department of Education and shall have received education and training in evaluation skills approved by the department. Issuance or renewal of license requires that the applicant has received such approved education and training in evaluation skills.
