The school district’s transportation program shall be designed to get students who live an unreasonable walking distance from school or are attending a school other than their assigned school pursuant to the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) choice option to school and back in an efficient, safe and economical manner. General responsibility for the transportation system is vested in the Superintendent of schools. All other people engaged in the transportation program are responsible to that administrator.
