Code addresses disruptive behavior consequences and enforces standards uniformly for all students. All policies with “JIC” designation constitute legally-required conduct code. Board consults parents, students, teachers, administrators, and community in code development. Code distributed annually to elementary through high school students and new enrollees, posted in each school. All district employees share responsibility for supervising student behavior.
