Regulation – District approval for foreign exchange students must occur between April 15-August 7 for fall or October 15-December 15 for spring semester. Students must have average grades, English proficiency, take five classes including language arts and American history/government, and pay all fees. J-1 visa students are not charged tuition. F-1 visa students must pay full unsubsidized costs upfront and may attend only 12 months maximum.
