Policy – The district authorizes admission of limited non-immigrant foreign exchange students from approved programs or privately sponsored by district residents. Students on J-1 visas from State Department-designated programs are not charged tuition. Students on F-1 visas may only attend secondary schools and must pay full unsubsidized per capita costs, with attendance limited to 12 months. Foreign exchange students are not candidates for district diplomas but may receive certificates of completion.
