The Board recognizes the importance of a consistent method of identifying and establishing class standing. The following procedures set the method for determining Valedictorian and Salutatorian. The student with the highest index scored, determined using the Colorado Commission on Higher Education Eligibility Index- IKC-E, will be Valedictorian and the second highest index score will be Salutatorian. In the event of a tie by two or more students, both or all shall share in the title of Valedictorian.
