Registered voters of the district elect directors to the Board of Education at regular school elections held on the Tuesday following the first Monday of November in each odd-numbered year. At every other biennial election, three directors are elected; at the other biennial election, two are elected. The county clerk and recorder are responsible for conducting the regular biennial school election when a coordinated election is being conducted in the county.
