We want to thank our parents, students, and staff for making the recent book fair such a success.
Given the success of our fairs, we will be able to host a Buy One Get One Free book fair later this spring as a thank you for our community. For every book purchased, families may choose another book of equal or lesser value for FREE. More information will be forthcoming as the date of the fair approaches.
Sales, Grants & Scholastic Reward Dollars Totals
Because of how well our fall book fair went, we were able to host two book fairs in one for this book fair. The Elementary book fair came in at $1317.17, while Middle & High School fair wracked up a whopping $2279.35 in sales.
Utilizing our Colorado State Grants for Libraries funds, we were able to add another $1756.26 to our online fair total, which brought our grand total of sales to $5352.78.
We used Scholastic Dollars to provide $50 in free books to several classroom teachers who chose to participate in the Classroom Wish List program,
But it gets even better! We were also rewarded with $3,640.87 Scholastic Reward Dollars to order free merchandise from the Scholastic School Resource Catalog.
Through your support, and book fair use of our grant funds, we were able to more than Double the purchasing power of our original grant.
